Is it just me or is Modern Warfare II (2022) unbelievably hard, even on the easiest difficulty? I die all the time in the “Alone” level in Mexico. 🎮

Yesterday, the new Modern Warfare II made me sweat with anxiety twice. At some point in the gameplay, the game gets so nerve-wracking… phew! 😰 🎮

Hahahahaahaaaaaa, 2 days or so ago I wrote that there’s no way I’m buying Modern Warfare II (2022) for 80 EUR. Today I bought the game for about 65 EUR. That doesn’t make it any better. I’m still crazy. 🎮

I only half-liked Deathloop on Xbox Game Pass, then pretty quickly stopped playing it. I let the Game Pass expire. Now Deathloop is on sale. Of course I bought the deluxe version right away. 🎮

Before you ask: Yes, I am stupid.

Now that Deathloop 🎮 has been released on Xbox, my Game Pass subscription has “appropriately” expired. 🤦

Oh cool, Microsoft refunded me the almost 6 euros for a digital item I bought by mistake. 👍

Yesterday I saw that the old Xbox 360 game The Darkness 2 is on sale. Purchased! After that I started the game and … the disillusionment was great: There is something wrong!

Ah yes, there was something…

In Germany, games are often cut. And that’s especially bitter for games that have a certain charm due to their sometimes excessive brutality. So I had spent almost 6 Euros for a cut game.

Too bad. 😞

A little later I got the idea, whether there is probably also an Austria online store for the Xbox? Yes, there is. And there is The Darkness 2 and The Darkness 1 on offer. And uncut. No sooner said than done. I bought the games from there and couldn’t download them to my Xbox. What’s going on there?

The solution: On the Xbox you can set a country. If you change that to Austria, the games are suddenly available for download.

The download ran and later I looked again in the other version of The Darkness 2. And behold: blood and guts as far as the eye can see. 🤣

Sorry, I’m not into splattering everywhere anymore, but I just knew the games differently. In the end, they are games based on comics that are not squeamish. And that’s how it should stay, please. Kind of like an Arielle that should be white. (Oh… did I set something off..?) 😊

It’s funny (no it’s not) that the Hot Wheels add-on for Forza Horizon 5 is significantly better than the official Hot Wheels game. 🎮

I just reactivated my PS4 to be able to play Stray. 🎮

Wow, my PS4 was last on in January. Since then, I’ve been concentrating on my Xbox Series S. It’s a shame that sometimes you need several consoles if you want to play one game or another.

Sometimes at night when I play video games, at some point when I open my eyes again, the person just runs into a wall. That’s the time for me to go to bed. 🎮

I cancelled the Xbox Game Pass and just bought the 2 games that I mainly but far too rarely played. I almost never use the Game Pass. For me, it was nice to try out some games, but somehow still unnecessary. 🎮

Oh my, the Xbox Series S, which I love, keeps seducing me….

I bought the following games “just because” in addition to the Game Pass:

  • Riders Republic
  • Far Cry 6
  • GTA V
  • Assassin’s Creed Origins
  • Cyberpunk 2077

And in the Game Pass?

I play there regularly…

  • Forza Horizon 5
  • Quantum Break
  • and a bit more…

When will I play all this? Every now and then for a few minutes and in about 5,000 years I’ll be through with everything.

I briefly played Far Cry 6 last night. (You can currently do that for free.) Do you know what you can do? Give orders to a crocodile 🐊, which then tears the enemies to pieces. Sick. (But funny.) 🎮

The Xbox Series S 🎮 is the most awesome console I’ve bought in years. I have so much fun with it, it’s crazy. But: The internal storage was full in a flash. There’s an official storage expansion… without any loss of speed, but…

512 GB cost about 160 euros and 1 TB about 220 euros. And the latter is almost as much as the console itself cost. But somehow I don’t know if I’ll be annoyed about the 512 GB if they fill up too quickly.

What would you do? With the Xbox Game Pass, there’s too much good stuff that I’d like to have ready quickly. But I’m afraid to spend another 220 EUR…
