Friday evening I experienced a tornado up close in Wunsiedel. And this one passed my house by a hair’s breadth. I saw for about 1-2 minutes nothing at all. Only wind, rain, leaves, dirt. I had never experienced anything like that before. My house is still standing, the grill has fallen over and dented and a few other things outside were broken. A house a few meters away has lost several roof tiles. A tree about 20 meters away broke off. A big, strong tree. I think we were pretty lucky.
It’s a mystery to me that something like that even happened in our area. But it speaks for the fact that the climate change is more blatant than I first thought.
